Leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission research group investigate the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base

On September 23rd, Cao Zhongxiang, the leader of the National Development and Reform Commission's "14th Five Year Plan" for the development of marine economy and the director of the Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission's Institute of Land Development and Regional Economy, and a delegation of nine people, accompanied by Cheng Jian, a member of the Party Group of Weihai Ocean Development Bureau, and relevant officials of Rongcheng Ocean Development Bureau, visited the company to investigate the Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base. Director Cao and his delegation have conducted on-site research on Shawo Island Cold Chain Logistics Park, Aquatic Products Deep Processing Park, Shawo Island Central Fishing Port, Yuantong Outfitting Terminal and other places. Xu Dezhu provided a detailed introduction to the company's industrial structure, development of marine economy, construction of base projects, and plans for the next steps. Director Cao appreciates the company's approach of using the base as a platform to vigorously build the Weihai Northeast Asia Aquatic Products Trading Center and the Shawo Island National Fishing Port Economic Demonstration Zone, and promote the integrated development of the three industries in the marine economy. He also stated that he will carefully organize and summarize the company's relevant proposals and demands, and help the company achieve high-quality development of the marine economy in the national "14th Five Year Plan" for marine economic development.
