On September 9th, the "14th Five Year Plan" seminar for China's offshore fishing industry was held at the company's Shawo Hotel. More than 20 people participated, including Sun Haiwen, Director of the Fisheries and Fishery Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Huang Baoshan, President of the China Ocean Fisheries Association, Wang Xiangguo, Director of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of Shandong Province, fishery authorities in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian and other provinces, as well as leaders of China Agricultural Development Group and domestic key ocean fishing enterprises from Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, Liaoning, Shanghai, Shandong and other provinces and cities. Xu Yunchuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group Company, Lian Renjie, General Manager, and Xu Dezhu, Executive Vice General Manager, attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, the attending leaders visited and inspected the Shawo Island National Ocean Fishery Base, and fully affirmed the company's profound implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "Economic Strategy for the Ocean" strategy, using the base as a platform to fully build the Weihai Northeast Asia Aquatic Products Trading Center, and striving to become a leading force in building a "strong ocean province". At the subsequent symposium, the attending leaders exchanged speeches on strengthening the management of offshore fisheries, promoting the construction of offshore fisheries bases, doing a good job in risk control of offshore fisheries, and optimizing policy support. They summarized their experiences, analyzed the situation, put forward specific work ideas and suggestions, and focused on discussing and forming the initial draft of China's offshore fisheries' 14th Five Year Plan.
