On May 18th, Gao Shuliang, member of the Party Group and Deputy Mayor of Weihai Municipal Government, Xing Haiwen, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Ocean Development Bureau, Zhou Chengsheng, Director of the Investment Department of Jiajiayue Group, and other leaders held a symposium on the construction of the Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base at the Shawo Hotel of the company. Li Wenhai, member of the Standing Committee of Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Government, as well as relevant officials from the Ocean Development Bureau, Commerce Bureau, State owned Assets Center, Maritime Center and other departments, Xu Yunchuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group Company, Liang Zhiqiang, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Base Construction Command, and Lian Renjie, General Manager of the Group Company, attended the meeting.
At the symposium, Xu Yunchuan gave a detailed report on the construction of the base project, as well as the existing constraints, relevant suggestions, and next planning plans. The heads of participating departments such as Rongcheng Municipal Government, Ocean Development Bureau, Commerce Bureau, State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Center, and Maritime Commerce Center also reported on the situation in conjunction with their respective departments' work. On the basis of carefully listening to reports from all parties, Mayor Gao emphasized that although the base has settled in Jinghai, it is also the base of Weihai. All administrative departments should work together, clarify division of labor, consolidate responsibilities, and truly implement practical measures to deeply crack the bottleneck that restricts the development of the base. They should introduce various preferential policies according to local conditions, increase the work of Weihai Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base Group Co., Ltd., and effectively do a good job in the development planning, investment promotion, operation and other work of the base, promoting the high-quality development of the base.
Before the meeting, Mayor Gao led the attendees to conduct on-site inspections of Shawo Island Storage and Logistics Park, Aquatic Products Deep Processing Park, Shawo Island Central Fishing Port, Yuantong Outfitting Terminal, and other places.
