On September 8th, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued Announcement No. 334, announcing that 66 fishing ports across the country have been approved as the first batch of national level designated landing fishing ports for marine fishing catch. It is reported that the announcement of designated landing ports for marine fishing catch is a powerful measure taken by agricultural and rural tribes to implement the State Council's requirements of "implementing the designated landing system for fishing catch and establishing a supervision and inspection mechanism for landed fishing catch". The purpose is to accelerate the implementation of the designated landing system for fishing catch, cooperate with relevant measures such as legal labeling and traceability management of fishing catch, strengthen fishing output management, and promote high-quality development of the fishery.
