On November 2nd, Wang Luming, Secretary of the Weihai Municipal Party Committee, Hou Shichao, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Weihai Municipal Party Committee, and other leaders, accompanied by Bao Xi'an, Secretary of the Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Gang, Executive Vice Mayor of Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee, visited the company to inspect the construction of the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base. At the central fishing port of Shawo Island, Secretary Wang specifically learned about the development of the company's offshore fishing industry and the construction and planning of the Shawo Island national offshore fishing base. Xu Yunchuan reported in detail to Secretary Wang on the company's marine economic industry structure, development status, progress of the Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base project, as well as the constraints, relevant suggestions, and next steps of the base construction plan. Secretary Wang fully affirmed the company's efforts to seize the strategic opportunities of the country's "the Belt and Road" and "Managing the Ocean", highlight the leading industry of ocean fisheries, build an important aquatic product processing and trade distribution center in Northeast Asia on the platform of Shawo Island National Ocean Fisheries Base, and strive to be the pacesetter in building a strong marine market, and made important work instructions for the future development of the base.
Secretary Wang is very concerned about the construction of the base despite his busy schedule. He has made important instructions and directives to the base multiple times. On February 22 this year, at the beginning of his work after the Spring Festival, Secretary Wang personally visited the construction site of the base to guide the work.
