Leaders from the Provincial Department of Natural Resources conducted research on the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base

On August 2nd, Song Jibao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the Department of Natural Resources of Shandong Province and Secretary and Director of the Party Group of the Provincial Ocean Bureau, accompanied by Wang Chuanliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the Weihai Ocean Development Bureau, Li Wenhai, Deputy Mayor of Rongcheng City Government, and Yuan Yuqian, Director of the Rongcheng Ocean Development Bureau, visited the company to investigate the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base. The general manager of the group company, Lian Renjie, reported on the work.

Secretary Song visited the Shawo Island Warehousing and Logistics Park, Shawo Island Central Fishing Port, Yuantong Outfitting Terminal, and other places. He also boarded the company's newly built "Lurong Yuanyu 696" squid fishing boat and visited the deck, engine room, cab, dormitory, cargo warehouse, and other places to gain a detailed understanding of the ship's technical parameters, equipment performance, production process, and operating sea area. Lian Renjie provided a detailed report on the company's offshore fishing scale, types of operations, species of fish caught, and resource recycling, with a focus on the current progress of the base's engineering and plans for the next steps of work. Secretary Song fully affirmed the company's outstanding leading position in the offshore fishing industry, using the base as a platform to accelerate the transformation of new and old driving forces in the marine economy, promote high-quality development of the offshore fishing industry, and strive to become a pioneer in building a strong marine province. He also provided guidance for the company's future development of offshore fishing and base construction work.
