Weihai city leaders conduct research on the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base

On July 17th, a delegation of five leaders including Zhang Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Weihai Municipal Party Committee, and Li Qiang, Secretary General, accompanied by Liu Changsong, Mayor of Rongcheng Municipal Government, Wang Hongxiao, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Yuan Yuqian, Director of the Municipal Ocean Development Bureau, conducted research work at the Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base. The general manager of the group company, Lian Renjie, and the assistant general manager, Chang Jie, accompanied the event.

Secretary Zhang conducted on-site research on aquatic product deep processing park, Shawo Island central fishing port, Yuantong outfitting dock and other places. At the Yuantong outfitting dock, Secretary Zhang enthusiastically boarded the "Lu Rongyuan Fishery Transport 999" offshore fishery auxiliary ship, visited the deck, cab, dormitory and other places, and gained a detailed understanding of the ship's technical parameters, equipment performance, transportation capacity and other related information. Secretary Zhang fully affirmed the company's approach of using the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base as a platform to promote the transformation and upgrading of the offshore fishery industry, achieve the integrated development of the three industries of the marine economy, and strive to become a pioneer in building a "strong marine city".
